The Harli team are proud to announce that Harli has been certified as an EnviroDevlopment by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
Harli has achieved maximum certification across the six categories of Ecosystems, Waste, Energy, Materials, Water and Community. The standards required for EnviroDevelopment certification are scientifically based and have been set by a panel of government, industry and environmental experts under the stewardship of the UDIA.
- Ecosystems: Protected and enhanced health and sustainability of natural systems.
- Waste: Comprehensive waste management procedures and practices to reduce the amount of waste to landfill.
- Energy: Reduced production of greenhouse gases and reduced use of fossil fuels.
- Materials: Environmentally responsible material usage.
- Water: Improved water use through water efficiency mechanisms and / or source substitution.
- Community: Vibrant, cohesive, sustainable communities with good community design.
