The Harli Team is excited to announce that construction of the 2-hectare Harli Wetland Reserve has been completed.
The reserve is a significant feature of the Harli community, with the wetland playing a crucial role in improving the local environment. It is part of a broader wetland and waterway system that retains and cleanses stormwater run-off before it enters our creeks and rivers and heads to Port Phillip Bay. The wetland and its surroundings will contribute to a broader network of green spaces with indigenous planting that will connect local habitat corridors, enhance biodiversity, and improve tree canopy cover. The wetland also provides an open space for the community, featuring a picnic area, shelter, and kickabout space, all centrally located. Additionally, a circuit of pedestrian and bicycle paths provides access around the wetland. Seating nodes are also located throughout the path network at key locations for rest and appreciation of the wetland and wildlife
Stages 3 & 4 construction is progressing well with drainage and sewer completed and road boxing commenced. Our civil contractor, Sandridge Roads, is on track to complete works in November 2025, with titles & settlements to begin early in 2026.

The Harli team are proud to announce that Harli has been certified as an EnviroDevelopment by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA). Harli has achieved maximum certification across the six categories of Ecosystems, Waste, Energy, Materials, Water and Community. The standards required for EnviroDevelopment certification are scientifically based and have been set by a panel of government, industry and environmental experts under the stewardship of the UDIA.
