This week Harli News focuses on the Harli Community Grants follow-up with Barton Primary School – Bike Repair Program who are the first of our 8 grant recipients to be showcased.
It’s great to see the Harli Community Grant providing the Barton students with funds to resource and support the Barton Bike Repair Program activities. This programme helps develop technical skills and provide an environmental response to repurposing unused resources while teaching social responsibility, inclusion & diversity through gifting the repaired bikes to the school community.
Harli is a 10min walk from Barton Primary School and a 5 min bike ride – no need for cars when you can live this close.
